Food Matters works with people in the criminal justice system, young care leavers, children and those struggling with mental health to build skills, knowledge and confidence around food. That might be cooking food, nutrition knowledge, learning to budget and shop well or advocating for change.
Our course design and delivery team, including trained nutritionists, can design course content to fit your needs. We offer:
- Curriculum design
- Content design
- Behaviour change
- Course delivery
- Evaluation
Our Approach
We believe that people are more likely to adopt positive change, if they are involved in deciding what that change should be. That’s why we design our training courses in collaboration with those attending, to ensure the content is effective and engaging. We empower people to identify and share the knowledge they already have in order to encourage peer learning and improve confidence and engagement.
